Does The Movie Back To The Future Hold The Key For The Cubs World Series?

Here is what the movie “Back to the Future II” predicted…

Could this be the case are what Chicago Cubs fans? I’m excited!!!!!!!!!

The Chicago Cubs may not have home field advantage tonight against the Pittsburgh Piratesin their National League Wild Card game, but they do have the backing of a classic Hollywood film.

In the 1989 film “Back to the Future Part II,” Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox, travels 30 years into the future when the fictitious “USA Today” headline is “Cubs Sweep Series in 5” against Miami on Oct. 22, 2015.

Sure, the real World Series actually starts Oct. 27 this year. And yes, the movie incorrectly predicted that the skies would be buzzing with flying cars and hoverboards. And, no, there isn’t a “Jaws 19” film in theaters, to our dismay.

But Chicago Cubs fans can hope and dream. After all, they haven’t won a World Series since 1908.
